Features and Applications/Product Characteristics

UV-1577 is a hydroxyphenyl triazine type ultraviolet absorber that can absorb 280-380 nanometers of ultraviolet light, with absorption peaks at 293 nanometers and 342 nanometers. It has the characteristics of good compatibility, low volatility, good durability, low migration, good thermal stability, and high absorption efficiency. It also has the characteristics of long-lasting absorption efficiency and no complexation with metal ions. Suitable for polyester, polyether ester, polycarbonate, polyamide, polyetheramine, polystyrene, acrylic copolymer, polymethyl methacrylate, polybutylene terephthalate, styrene acrylonitrile resin, especially suitable for transparent and semi transparent engineering plastics, PC, PA, PET, PMMA films, sheets, and plates. The general dosage is 0.1-0.5%.
